Dixon is a city in northern Solano County, California, United States, located 23 miles from the state capital, Sacramento. The population was 21, 138 at the 2020 census. It is the 295th largest city in California. Other nearby cities include Vacaville, Winters and Davis.
The first settlement in the Dixon area was founded in 1852 by Elijah S.
